Eltz castle

Eltz castle, the most beautiful castle I have ever visited, located in Wierschem, Germany. It’s a lonely castle towering high on a huge rock, in Eltz forest, surrounded by river. It is one of the castle which has remained undestroyed by wars. The castle is still owned by the same family, which had built it.

The other interesting thing about the castle is, its in centre of an attractive hiking region. You can either go by hiking to the castle or take a mini bus which runs every half an hour to the castle. A guided tour is offered in the castle. You can witness the life of royal kingdom. Treasury, art, armours, kitchen, interior, everything present inside the castle is still in its place.

A best place for hiking, photography and history.
