A sculpture known as ‘searching for Utopia’ by Belgium artist Jan Fabre, was placed for exhibition in citadel (castle) of Namur, Belgium for a short period of time. This bronze sculpture is of the artist himself ascending a tortoise and enjoying the view from top of citadel. Utopia means ‘a place that actually does not exist, an imaginary perfect place’. Maybe the artist has a vision of how his ideal dreamworld has to be and has portrayed his journey of searching a perfect world through this sculpture.
